Asendia USA Guide

Asendia USA offers international shipping solutions that cover a broad range of destinations including Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Oceania, South America, the USA, and Canada. This service provides an economical option for reaching global markets, ensuring cost-effective delivery solutions across continents.

This guide includes detailed information on utilizing Asendia USA shipping with the EasyPost API, focusing on account setup, rates, label creation, manifests, tracking, and more.

Sign up for an EasyPost account to obtain a Test and Production API key. See Authentication and Key Management for more information.

Upon sign-up with EasyPost, users gain immediate access to Default Carrier Accounts, which can be enabled directly from the Dashboard. For additional carriers, EasyPost supports a Bring Your Own Account (BYOA) option. This requires users to register directly with the respective carrier.

1. Contact Asendia USA to request a shipper account. A representative will be in touch for additional details regarding the account.
2. Inform Asendia USA about using EasyPost’s API for label purchases.
3. Acquire rates and align any additional shipping needs.
4. Obtain the following test and production account credentials:
   1. Asendia USA Account Number
   2. Asendia USA API Key
   3. Asendia USA Carrier Facility / Processing Location (Optional)
   4. Asendia USA Password
   5. Asendia USA Sub Account Number
   6. Asendia USA Username
5. Input carrier-specific credentials within the EasyPost Carrier Account Dashboard for comprehensive rate access.

The API structure specified by EasyPost can also be used to add the Asendia USA carrier shipper account.

With EasyPost, generating shipping labels for Asendia USA is the same process as generating them for any other carrier.

Asendia USA labels can be voided through EasyPost provided the shipment has not yet entered the mail stream.
