Hailify Guide
Hailify leverages on-demand driver fleets, utilizing their downtime to offer last-mile delivery gigs. This innovative approach helps to keep drivers earning and provides retailers and brands with cost-effective, sustainable, and reliable shipping options, including a next-day delivery service for as low as $4 per drop.
This guide includes detailed information on utilizing Hailify shipping with the EasyPost API, focusing on account setup, rates, label creation, manifests, tracking, and more.
Sign up for an EasyPost account to obtain a Test and Production API key. See Authentication and Key Management for more information.
Note: Negotiated rates are only available in Production mode.
Upon sign-up with EasyPost, users gain immediate access to Default Carrier Accounts, which can be enabled directly from the Dashboard. For additional carriers, EasyPost supports a Bring Your Own Account (BYOA) option. This requires users to register directly with the respective carrier.
- Contact Hailify to request a shipper account. A representative will be in touch for additional details regarding the account.
- Inform Hailify about using EasyPost's API for label purchases.
- Acquire rates and align any additional shipping needs.
- Obtain Hailify account credentials:
- Production Hailify Partner ID
- Test Hailify Partner ID
- Input carrier-specific credentials on the Carrier Account Dashboard for comprehensive rate access.
The API structure specified by EasyPost can also be used to add the Hailify carrier shipper account.

Hailify is a Live Rating integration, enabling real-time rate retrieval for shipments created via EasyPost. Rates are guaranteed valid for a minimum of 5 minutes.
- When creating a shipment, EasyPost requests Hailify for shipment rates specific to the user's Hailify account.
- The rates provided are directly from Hailify and tailored to the user's specific account details.
- In cases of discrepancies or incorrect rates, users are advised to contact their Hailify account representative.
- The representative can then update the rates in Hailify's database to ensure user account accuracy.
Billing is directly handled by Hailify. EasyPost does not participate in the billing process for Hailify services. Contact a Hailify representative for details.
Hailify delivers 7 days per week, excluding holidays, and offers the following service:

Hailify supports next-day delivery for shipments within the following core markets: Los Angeles, Dallas, Chicago, New York, New Jersey, and Philadelphia. The service operates out of 5 shipping hubs across the nation.
There are no predefined packages for Hailify.
With EasyPost, the process for generating shipping labels for Hailify is the same as generating them for any other carrier.

Manifesting is not supported or required for Hailify.
Returns are not supported.
Voiding Hailify labels through EasyPost is supported.
EasyPost offers native Hailify labels PDF and ZPL formats. If a PNG label is needed, EasyPost requests a PDF label from Hailify then converts it to a PNG label.
Hailify’s policy on hazardous materials is not explicitly detailed. Shippers are advised to contact Hailify directly for specific guidelines and compliance requirements.
Hailify accommodates pickups based on individual agreements with customers. While regular pickups can be arranged directly with Hailify during the account registration process, they cannot be scheduled via the EasyPost API.
EasyPost simplifies package tracking by offering two methods:
- Tracking with an existing number and carrier.
- Using a Tracker included with an EasyPost-purchased shipping label.

The Carrier Metadata endpoint can programmatically return information about Hailify service levels, predefined packages, supported features, and shipment options.
