# MRW Guide

MRW is a Spanish express courier and parcel delivery company. The MRW integration supports shipments within Spain,
Portugal, Gibraltar, and Andorra.

## Carrier Account Registration

### Account Registration

Sign up for an EasyPost account to obtain Test and Production API keys.

See Authentication and Key Management for more information.

> Note: Negotiated rates are only available in Production mode.

### MRW Account Registration

Contact MRW to obtain a shipper account, rate card, and production and test credentials.
Add the account through the Carrier Accounts Dashboard or the API.

The account uses the `MrwAccount` type and the following credentials:

- Franchise code
- Subscriber code
- Department code (optional)
- Username
- Password

### MRW Account via API

Use the Carrier Account API to add an MRW account:

## Rates

MRW supports rate card rating. Rate cards must be installed for each EasyPost account; otherwise, the API returns one-cent
rates. Contact EasyPost Support for help installing your MRW rate card.

## Billing

MRW bills customers directly on a bill-on-scan basis. Contact MRW with billing or rate questions.

## Predefined Packages

MRW does not provide predefined packages. Use parcel dimensions and weight when creating shipments.

## Generating Shipping Labels

MRW provides carrier-generated labels in PDF and PNG formats. See the Getting
Started Guide for help creating a label.

### One-Call Buys

MRW supports label purchases and one-call buys, which combine shipment creation, rating, and purchase in one request.

### Manifests

Manifesting is not supported.

### Shipment Options

Shipment options are generated from live carrier metadata and are not included in this file. Retrieve them from the Carrier Metadata endpoint: https://docs.easypost.com/docs/carrier-metadata. Use `carrier=mrw`.

Cash on delivery amounts must be in EUR, in whole euros, and no greater than 999 EUR. Carrier insurance amounts must be in
EUR and are summed across containers. The label date defaults to the current date in Spain when omitted.

The description of the first item in `shipment.options.fulfiller_order_items` is sent as instructions. Item values use
`item_value.value` and the currency from `shipment.options.currency`. For customs, `documents` in
`customs_info.contents_type` is sent as `DOC`; only the recipient VAT is supported in `tax_identifiers`.

MRW requires the name, street address, and city in both the ship-from and ship-to addresses.

### Refunds and Returns

Refunds, voids, and return labels are not supported.

### Multi-Piece Shipping

Multi-piece shipments are supported.

### Additional Limitations

QR codes, signatures, surcharges, commercial invoices, incoterms, and address verification are not supported.

## Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT)

Limited quantity and fully regulated hazardous material shipments are not supported.

## Pickups

Pickups are not supported through the EasyPost API. Contact MRW to arrange pickups.

## Tracking

Tracking is not yet supported for MRW through the EasyPost API.
